Yoga was developed over 5000 years ago in India. It is a science of the mind and body and should be regarded as a way of life not just a form of exercise. 

It is a mindful and intelligent practice designed to create harmony and balance inside and out of mind, body and soul.

There are so many benefits to yoga which some say can be felt as soon as after your first class. The more yoga you can invite into your life, the more benefits gained.

Some of these benefits include: strength, flexibility, better range of movement, stronger joints, improved balance, deeper breathing, relaxation and the ability to make better choices in life as your awareness of ‘self’ increases!

I liken yoga to a tool box, with many compartments. These compartments are layered and include all the tools needed to keep you fit and well. 

Whatever tool is needed, at any given moment, on any day is right there for you to pick and use.

It’s your body, it’s your practice. Yoga is as individual as you are!
